Jonathan's Story

Jonathan is a wonderful young adult, fun to be with, since he gets very excited about lots of things. It could be as simple as going out for pizza, which is one of his favorite things to do, but he also gets great pleasure by being on the train, in a boat, or in a car. He is a pleasure to take anywhere.

He has not always been this easy. He never slept and when he was awake he was always on the run, with us chasing him.

Things got broken all the time, like windows, and knobs in the car. Drawers were always being emptied. Things were always being poured out: shampoo, etc… so one can see that things have settled down in Jonathan’s life.

But we the parents are getting older and time is going very quickly, so this is where PALS comes into play. We need to start a network to oversee Jonathan’s life, so as to keep things running smoothly with Jonathan’s best interest in mind.

We have to be reassured that he is safe and happy. When we are not longer here to do this, PALS will be here for the future.
